Must meet
- Educational Institute’s admission requirements for that particular course
- English language requirements
- Financial obligations
You require a student visa for the following study types.
- English Language Course for international students (ELICOS)
- Primary to secondary school study
- Secondary school student exchange programs
- Diploma and Certificate ( vocational & training education) VET
- Postgraduate and higher education
- Government-sponsored international students
Inclusions in student visa
- Visa will be valid for the entire course duration (must remain enrolled in a registered course)
- Enrolled in CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students) educational institute for a full-time course
- Work permitted 20 hours a week starting from a Monday
- Primary and their dependents can not start work before the commencement of the enrolled course
- When a primary visa holder starts his master or doctorate degree, a member of a visa holder has the right to work unlimited hours.
