ESTA Visa For the USA
The Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) is an online travel permit. It allows citizens of Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries to enter the United States for tourism, transit, or business for up to 90 days without a visa.
This system is managed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. You must apply before boarding a flight or ship bound for the U.S.

Submit your application here:
You will need:
- A valid passport from a VWP country
- A valid credit/debit card or PayPal for payment
- Your contact and travel details
It takes about 20 minutes to complete the application. Ensure all information is accurate to avoid delays.
What Is the ESTA Visa Fee?
The current fee for an ESTA application is $21 USD.
It includes:
- $4 for processing
- $17 if your application is approved
You must pay this fee at the time of submission through the official ESTA website.
How Long Is ESTA Processing Time?
Most ESTA applications are processed within minutes. However, it can take up to 72 hours in some cases.
It is highly recommended to apply at least 72 hours before departure. Do not wait until the last minute.
Once approved, your ESTA is valid for two years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.
Important Reminders for Travelers
- ESTA does not guarantee entry; the final decision lies with U.S. Customs.
- You cannot extend your stay beyond 90 days under ESTA.
- You must have a return ticket when traveling under ESTA.
- You cannot work or study under ESTA.
If you plan to stay longer or for other purposes like work or study, you must apply for a non-immigrant visa through a U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
